UD NAKED BASICS PALETTE REVIEW

Hello Beautiful,

Today I am giving you a quick review of the original Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. This palette came out quite some time ago but during a recent trip to Sephora I saw that they came out with the Naked Basics 2 palette. It was a toss up between the two but the original won out in the end. This product is quite a splurge, you get a total of 6 shadows for $32.00 CAD. It features 5 matte shades and 1 shimmer. One thing to remember if you plan on purchasing this palette, is that it is not the same shades you will find in the other full size Naked palettes. These 6 shades are exclusive to this palette.

When you look at this palette it seems very simple and neutral but there are alot of options with this palette. You can go from a simple base shadow to a sexy smokey eye. There are a ton of options. In this palette you get these shades:

Crave- A completes matte black shade
Faint- A matte dark warm brown
Naked 2- A soft warm brown
Walk of Shame- A matte pink based cream
Foxy- A matte yellow based cream
Venus-A shimmer cream shade

So what is my verdict on this splurge? I am completely and utterly obsessed with this palette. I whip this baby out on a daily basis. The colors have so many options from everyday to night out. The shadows have slight fallout but blend beautifully and seamlessly with a buttery texture. I think this palette will suit all skin tones but works best on light eyes. I would recommend this palette to any and everyone.

I hope you enjoyed! Until next time...
