#livelovesimple Challenge - Day#11 My 10 Favourite Foods
Hello friends,
Well, we have already reached day 11 - My 10 favourite Foods.
I think these posts are a little weird, because what am I supposed to say about the foods...? Like, am I supposed to descride how the cheese is melted on my pizza?
Such a weird post but here we go...
1. Shawarma, If you have not had the pleasure of eating some delish garlicky shawarma with rice, you are sorely missing out. So far, the restaurant who makes the best shawarma has by far been a little restaurant here in Oakville called Agabi, So. freaking. good!!!!
2. Pizza. Whoever doesn't like pizza is lying. It's pizza! What is not to like? It's dough with tomato sauce and cheese, baked to golden melted deliciousness.
3. Burgers and Fries. I love burgers and fries because there are so many ways to make it taste different. Prime example, hit up The Works Burger Bistro in Oakville. They have a full page on the menu of burger combinations. They even have burgers with peanut butter on them. I am more of the goat cheese and sauteed peppers kinda gal.
4. Mashed Potatoes. Nuff said.
5. Sauteed Mushrooms. I love a good bowl full of sauteed mushrooms with a steak. I could eat the bowl on it's own, that would satisfy me.
6. Spaghetti. I think spaghetti and meat sauce is a super quick and simple dish that truly satisfies.
7. Mashed Squash. My mom makes probably the best mashed butternut squash of life. She basically cubes and bakes this with brown sugar, onions, red and green peppers, then mashes it all up. She usually serves it up with her roast beef. Nom!
8. General Thai. I love thai food in general, but this is my favourite. I love the breaded chicken smothered in that sweet yet spicy sauce. I'm drooling.
9. Chicken Roti. I have not has a good chicken roti since my sister moved out of the Scarborough area. So far, I have not found any drool worth roti spots in this area. I love this meal because it can be more than one meal. If you go to a good spot, you usually get a massive roti that can be divided to make two potions. It's also extremely hearty.
10. Pork Souvlaki. A lemony, garlicky skewer of pork smothered in garlic sauce. Gaaaah!
I flipping love food!
I was watching Eat, Pray, Love for the first time the other night and the only part I loved was the part where she *Spoiler Alert* goes to Italy and all she does is eat! I want to do that. I drooled the whole time.
Until tomorrow...

March 2015 Favorites
Hello my chicken nuggets,
The last few months, not much has changed in my beauty regime. But thankfully, in March, I got my hands on some awesome products that I really want to share. I didn't use a tons of new products some you may or may not see a few old friends in this line up. So, let's go...
Tarte Tartelette Palette
This has been by far my go-to palette last month. It features 12 neutral matte shades that can go with any skin tone. This palette took me from day to night and made my blue-green eyes pop like nobodies biz.
L'Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation
I got this dewy foundation in 1-2 N for my fair skin, but I will say it turns out a bit dark for me. Other than the fact, I am super happy with this foundation. I love the coverage it gives while keeping my skin fresh and dewy looking.
Hard Candy Blush Crush Blush in Living Doll
I have talked about this blush one too many times, I know, but it is just such a perfect blush for spring. This blue-toned pink gives a gorgeous pink flush with a touch of shimmer. I skipped the highlighter on any days I used this bad boy.
Maybelline Master Precise Drama Eyeliner
This has been my favorite eyeliner pen in the last few years and I always end up back at it even when I try something new. It is super duper precise which makes it super easy to create the perfect cat eye flick.
Duo Lash Adhesive
Last month, was false eyelash month and thanks to this glue, they stayed in place all day. I used the clear which did give a bit of residue so I needed to fill with some eyeliner. Other than that, this glue rocks my socks.
That's it for my March favorites! I hope you enjoyed and let me know in the comments what some of your favorites last month were.
Until next time...

A Few Beauty Favourites To Share
1. Too Faced Hangover RX Primer - I use this lightweight primer as a moisturizer before makeup. It creates a nice dewy finish under your makeup for the day.
2. MAC Face and Body Foundation - This foundation is feather light and buildable. This foundation has a light dewy finish but set it with powder and you have a matte finish. When this foundation sets, it lasts forever. A great summer foundation.
3. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer - My Holy Grail highlighter. This foundation is a highly pigmented, champagne highlighter. This gives a light glow to even the fairest skin.
4. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - I have had this palette for a while now and I literally use it everyday. My favourite colours are Limit and Nooner.
5. Coastal Scents 6 Contour Palette - This palette is dirty cheap and it great for a contour beginner. Even though these guys are cheap, they are extremely pigmented! They are also matte so they create a natural light contour.
6. Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara - My absolute favourite mascara!!! This guy is they most expensive mascara I own, but it is worth every penny. Gives great volume and length without alot of clump. LOVE!!!

November Favorites ♥
Hello my Beauties,
Hope you all had a fabulous day. My day was quite long and eventful as I worked at my day job. Anywho, in light of there only being a few more days left to the month, I thought I would share my November favorites with you guys. I thought I would do it in a categorized fashion. So, let's get this show on the road.
Facial Cleanser - Cetaphil for oily and ACNE prone skin
This has by far been my favorite cleanser for the last few months. It is a really light product that helps absorb all the access oils on your skin why giving you a deep clean. It is also hypo-allergenic for those of you with sensitive skin. I picked this up for around $7 CAD at Walmart.
Moisturizer- Clean & Clear Morning Burst Gel Moisturizer
Although I do love my cetaphil cleanser, products targeting oily or acne prone skin tends to be drying as well. I always, Click here to read my review.
always, ALWAYS follow up with a moisturizer. This one in particular is light and non-greasy. It has a light and clean scent. It also has soothing components like cucumber and mango extracts, so it makes your skin feel super fresh.
Foundation- L'oreal True Match
I cannot say enough good things about this awesome foundation. The one thing I love about it is how light weight if feels on my skin. It makes me feel like I am not even wearing foundation. The formula is also super blendable. They came in a ton of shades with warm and cool tones. I have been trying a few different foundations over the last little while but this one seems the most consistent and the color is bang on. I usually switch between this one and my Revlon Colorstay. Click here to read my review.
Setting Powder- NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder
I have been in mad love with this beautifulness lately. I love this product, first off because it's translucent, and second because it really does smooth out the skin. It doesn't hurt that it's dirt cheap either. I usually apply this with the 'press and roll' technique of old Hollywood. This helps to minimize pores and give a smoother appearance to the skin.
Blush- Joe Fresh 'Pink'
This blush is just a gorgeous hot pink. This product is very pigmented and you only need a tiny bit to give off a load of color. The color goes nicely with my alabaster skin tone and makes me look flirty and flushed (That was uncomfortable lol).
Bronzer- Real Colors 'Pool Boy'
This bronzer is shimmery and light. Again, it works nicely with my alabaster skin tone and gives me some warmth.
Eyeshadow- Elf Palette in 'Brown?'
I am not really sure of the actual name of this palette, what I do know is this, I am in love with it. It is the best shadow palette that I own and this is a big dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette, but a fraction of the cost at a whopping $6 CAD. There a tons shades, with some shimmer and some matte. I do have my favorites but this whole palette is awesome.
Eyeliner- Lise Watier in 'Noir Brun'
I swiped this liner off my Mom like a million years ago and I have been in love recently. I have been having a brown eyeliner
moment because it makes my blue eyes pop. This one does not smudge and lasts forever on my eyes. I know this is a splurge product but it is a good product that won't disappoint.
Mascara- L'oreal Voluminous in 'Carbon Black'
This mascara a was a recommendation from my friend and makeup artist Nora. I have been searching for a mascara that does what this one does for what seems like forever. The formula is great and it really is super black. It gives length, fullness and lasts all day.
Lipstick- Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection in 103
This a great matte nude shade. It glides on nicely and doesn't leave your lips dried and cracked. I usually use this with a liner
a shade darker and blend inwards.
Well, that's it for this month my Loves. This was my first favourites blog post, what did you think? Should I do more? Lemme know Babelettes.
